4th House LLC ("4th House," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the 4th House platform at 4thhouse.app or the mobile application (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

2.1 Information You Provide

When you create an account or use the Platform, you may provide: • Name (display name, which must be unique on the Platform) • Email address (required for basic membership) • Profile information (photo, bio, skills, interests, arrangement preferences, location) • Listing information (description, photos, arrangement type, location, compensation details) • Messages sent through the Platform's messaging system • Review and rating information • Payment information (for verification fees and listing fees — processed securely, not stored by 4th House directly)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect: • Device information (device type, operating system, browser type) • Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent on Platform) • IP address and approximate location • Log data (access times, error logs)

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

4th House does not collect or store contact information (phone numbers, physical addresses) that members choose to share with each other through the Platform's messaging system. Any such information shared between members is their own responsibility.

We use the information we collect to:

(a) Operate and improve the Platform; (b) Create and manage your account; (c) Facilitate connections between members; (d) Process payments for Platform services; (e) Send Platform notifications and updates (subject to your notification preferences); (f) Enforce our Terms of Service and Platform policies; (g) Comply with legal obligations; (h) Protect the safety and security of members and the Platform.

4th House does not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

(a) With other members — profile information you make public (name, photo, skills, listing details, reliability scores) is visible to other Platform members as intended by the Platform's function; (b) With service providers — we may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the Platform (such as payment processors and hosting providers), under strict confidentiality obligations; (c) For legal compliance — we may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of 4th House, its members, or the public; (d) Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, with notice provided to you.

Messages sent between members through the Platform's messaging system are private between those members and 4th House. We do not sell or share private message content with third parties. However, message content may be accessed by 4th House administrators for safety, moderation, and legal compliance purposes. Members should be aware that any information they choose to share in messages — including personal contact details — is shared at their own discretion and risk.

Review responses are stored in our database but are only displayed publicly in aggregated, anonymized form. Individual review responses are never publicly attributed to a specific member. Late cancellation records are permanent and associated with the member's account.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Platform services. If your account is closed, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including safety records, late cancellation flags, and retired name history. You may request deletion of your personal data subject to applicable legal requirements.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

Payment processing for Platform services (including identity verification fees and listing fees) is handled by third-party payment processors. 4th House does not store complete payment card information. Payment processors are subject to their own privacy policies and security standards. Financial transactions between members are made entirely outside the Platform and are not processed or stored by 4th House.

The Platform may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Platform experience. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect certain Platform functionality. We do not currently use third-party analytics services, though this may change in the future with appropriate notice.

The Platform is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

4th House is based in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer. We will take appropriate measures to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local laws, including:
